John Maggiotto is the owner and principal photographer of Gallery
              Photo, established in 1990. Gallery Photo is located in Dobbs Ferry,
              NY and serves the New York City region, photographing fine art
              works for artists and dealers, portraits, and documenting social
              and corporate events. His editorial work has appeared in 
              SPIN, DETAILS, VIBE, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY,
              REDBOOK,
              and WESTCHESTER magazines. Mr. Maggiotto's personal direction has
              lead to the pursuit of fine portraiture. His ability to work with
              all age groups has made him the first choice amoung many Rivertown
              families. His corporate clients have included PricewaterhouseCoopers,
              the Brooklyn Museum, Financial Accounting Foundation, Ward-Leonard
              Electric, Hartz Mountain, the Historic House Trust and the Hudson
              River Museum. 
            John Maggiotto is an exhibiting artist. Mr. Maggiotto was part
              of the collective of artists who formed the alternative space Hallwalls
              in the late
              seventies. Here his work was recognized and included in the 1979
              Albright-Knox Art Gallery exhibition In Western New York, curated
              by Linda Cathcart and Charlotta Kotik. In 1980 he moved to Washington,
            DC to work at the National Endowment for the Arts. In 1985 he returned
              to NYC for a position at the New York City Department of Cultural
              Affairs. He has taught  at the International Center
               of Photography in NYC for eleven years.
